The State Chancellery, in collaboration with the Project „Support to capacity development and motivation of the Public Administration employees in the Republic of Moldova” („Motivation” Project), financed by European Union, on 21.11.2019 organized an workshop with the topic „Management and development of human resources in Public Administration in the Republic of Moldova”, designed for civil servants within HR subdivisions from central public administration authorities, which took place in the Palace of Republic.
The goal of the workshop was to increase the visibility and awareness of the reform process in public service in Republic of Moldova, to present and to discuss the current situation and the actions to be taken in the field of human resource management from public administration.
In his welcoming speech, the Deputy Secretary General of the Government, Adrian Ermurachi, underlined the importance and commitment of the Government for the implementation of European SIGMA Standards in the field of human resource management from public administration and the role of civil servant in the efficient functioning of the public authorities.
In this context, senior adviser from SIGMA, Primož Vehar, presented the SIGMA principles on public administration, main findings and recommendations from the 2015 Evaluation Report and the current situation of the human resource management system from public administration in the Republic of Moldova.
Later, the experts from „Motivation” Project presented a series of analyzes and recommendations.
During the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to get involved in interactive debates on the amendments proposed to the legislation and capacity building programs.
